DAYTONA BEACH

Verify the proposed rental term.

The City directs owners planning rentals shorter than six months plus one day to its Business Tax Office to determine whether zoning allows the use. Call 386-671-8140 with the property address.

The GIS portal is a zoning research starting point; it is not a map certifying short-term rental permission.

ORMOND BEACH

Residential zoning is restrictive.

The City defines transient lodging as a lease of less than six months and says it is not allowed in residential zoning districts. Its FAQ identifies B-4, B-6 and B-7 commercial districts as allowing transient lodging, subject to review and applicable requirements.

Confirm that the address is inside city limits; an Ormond Beach mailing address alone does not establish jurisdiction.
